Welcome to the "What's New" section! I will try to update this website on a regular basis so check here often! Everything is organized with the most recent updates appearing first.
Well, they can't all be Golden Classics, friends. Definitely check out my Mighty No. 9 review and hide any Mega Man fans before reading it, okay? Yikes!
Wowza! ANOTHER update?! Yes indeed. :) Enjoy my Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories review!
Now this game is LONG overdue for a review but hey...better late than never, right? Disgaea fans and my sister Cari in particular, this one's for you!
Fire Emblem fans...you will certainly appreciate this update! I just posted my Fire Emblem: Awakening review! Do enjoy and thanks for dropping by The Tigmo Dimension!
Hello again everyone! Like always, it has been quite the long hiatus since my last update but I am proud to present my latest and greatest video game review - Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4! I had a lot of fun writing this review and this seriously is one of the finest RPGs out there. Enjoy and have a wonderful day!
It's been a couple of months but I finally have my long-awaited Xenoblade Chronicles review posted! This game is yet another "Xeno" treat from Monolith Soft so check it out if you love RPGs or are simply curious!
Happy belated July 4th to everyone! I have some real treats for you today! An updated Chrono Trigger review along with a review of Bravely Default for the 3DS! Chrono Trigger truly is one of the greatest games ever made and that coupled with DKC2 and Super Metroid made the Super NES truly special. I wish that I could give all three games "Crown Jewel" status! On a related note, I do hope to complete my Xenoblade Chronicles review (Nintendo Wii) very soon!
Alright! With my Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze review, I have now completed the entire core DKC series! This latest and greatest DKC game is fantastic too!
Why stop at one Double Dragon game? I just completed my review of the popular Double Dragon II: The Revenge for the NES! Enjoy the review!
Well, it only took me 16 years but I have finally reviewed a classic Double Dragon game! Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones is the first one to get reviewed with the second Double Dragon game hopefully coming next! Btw, I also have posted a review for Donkey Kong Country Returns for the Nintendo Wii! Only Tropical Freeze remains!
Metroid fans...it's time to celebrate! Along with last night's TMNT IV review, Super Metroid is another one of my long overdue video game reviews. Well, it is finally finished so enjoy my personal take on one of the most epic SNES games ever!
TMNT fans...rejoice! I have finally posted my review of Turtles in Time for the Super NES! It has been a long time coming but so were my DKC reviews! ;) Enjoy everyone!
My goodness! The muse continues to speak to me and the reviews (and revised/updated reviews) continue to flow! I have touched up my Blaster Master and Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics Part 2 reviews so definitely check them out at your leisure!
Well, with my brother Nathan and I getting Battletoads fever recently (I was able to beat the game for the third time while my brother beat it for the first time!!), we fired up Battletoads: Double Dragon as well which gave me an itch to revise my review of the game. It doesn't happen too often but this game scored higher mainly because it is so much fun to play with a second player! Check out the review and enjoy!
Review #102 has been posted!! I got into the original StarTropics NES classic recently and decided, "Why not write a review for it?" Do enjoy this simple review of an underrated NES gem!
Well, like usual, it has been seemingly forever since my last update to The Tigmo Dimension. However, I have quite the update for Donkey Kong Country fans and old school gamers alike! It took me a long time but I finally have completed reviews for Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, and 3!! All three games are truly amazing and you might be surprised to see how high one of them scored! On top of that, my DKC 2 review marks the 100th review here at The Tigmo Dimension!!! It only took me 16 years to accomplish that feat. Lol! Enjoy the reviews everyone!!
Zelda fans...I have a special review just for you! At long last, I have finally had the chance to play and enjoy The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Nintendo Wii! How does this game stack up to the others? Check out my review and find out!
Old-school fans are going to enjoy my new review for sure! If you ever played an obscure game called Fester's Quest for the NES, prepare yourself for a trip down memory lane.
It has been quite the hiatus but I finally have a new review for you! This one is dedicated to my longtime friend Wesley Messer. Enjoy my Jackal review buddy! :)
Well, Tigmo is at long last a married man!! :) My beautiful bride Sandy and I enjoyed a wonderful wedding day on May 4th, 2013 and look forward to enjoying a (Lord Willing!) long life together. My first review as a married man is a dandy too! This Hagane: The Final Conflict review is the latest in a current stretch of rare and obscure reviews by yours truly. :) After all, reviews of relatively unknown games are not only fun to read but provide valuable information, right? Uh...right? ;)
Hello everyone!! :) After yet another long hiatus, I have a huge update for you! I have posted a whopping four reviews today including EarthBound along with the lesser-known Super Bonk for the Super NES, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES for the PlayStation 2 (my first new PlayStation review of any kind in years!), and my retro revival review of the day in Mutant Mudds for the Nintendo 3DS!
Have I got a special treat for you today! My Video Game Review Station now has the brand new Sega Sensations section thanks in large part to Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Sega Saturn console. I have had an absolute blast playing this game lately and I couldn't resist the urge to write a full-blown review for this rare gem. Enjoy the review and keep on coming back to The Tigmo Dimension. New reviews (for some truly unique games) are forthcoming! :)
I hope that you have enjoyed the new reviews that I just posted last Friday! I have a couple of additional reviews for the Nintendo 3DS that I just posted as well! The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D finally has some company thanks to a certain plumber that shall remain nameless. ;) Check out my reviews of Super Mario 3D Land as well as Mario Kart 7 when you get the chance!
It has been quite a day if you are a fan of the Nintendo Wii! I have posted a whopping FOUR new reviews today including ones of the wacky Warioware: Smooth Moves party game for the Wii, the Wii Fit Plus exercise hit, one for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and a final encore performance in the form of Super Smash Bros. Brawl as well! Two of these games got absolutely stellar scores too! Click on the above links to find out how they all did...according to Tigmo anyway! ;)
The Mega Man X circle is now officially complete! As promised, my Mega Man X2 and Mega Man X3 reviews have both been posted! Enjoy fellow Blue Bomber maniacs! ;)
Blue Bomber fans rejoice because I have just posted a brand new review of the very first Mega Man X game! Reviews for X2 and X3 are coming very soon!
As promised, several new reviews have arrived at The Tigmo Dimension! I just posted my review of one of the all-time classics in Metroid as well as the "not so classic" Back to the Future game pak! Talk about a contrast in styles! Also, I just completed my review of Dragon Spirit: The New Legend. All three reviews are dedicated to my good friend Josh Zawel who requested them. And I assure you, many more reviews are coming soon for the Super NES, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo 3DS!
This isn't necessarily a real update per se but I did want to let everyone know that a ton of new reviews are coming soon! Within the next week or two, you are going to see a lot of new content at The Tigmo Dimension! There will be new NES, Super NES, Wii, and 3DS reviews forthcoming so hang in there just a bit longer! :)
Hello everyone! It might not sound like a huge update to The Tigmo Dimension per se but you might have noticed the new link to Tigmo's YouTube Channel on the main page. I can't encourage you enough just to check out this page as I have more than fifty videos currently available for viewing. Some of them (particularly the "Passionate Announcer" ones) are soooooooooooooo funny too! I am always looking for new subscribers! ;)
First of all, I want to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who might be checking out The Tigmo Dimension before slicing up a turkey or two! Thanksgiving is one of my personal favorite times of the year as we all celebrate family and count our many blessings together. Anyway, I wish everyone the very best this holiday. And I just posted a new video game review to boot! Contra fever has gotten me good lately as Super C is the latest review to grace The Tigmo Dimension!
It has been a few months since my last review but the wait is finally over! I have been meaning to post a review of the original Battletoads for the longest time and at long last, it is now up and hot off the presses (or is that "cyberpresses?") Dedicated to my old college roommate Richard Crotts, I had to ride a hover bike and brave the clinger-wingers to get this review done, but it is finally completed!
As promised, my review of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is now available for viewing! I had a blast playing through this spectacular game and had nearly as much fun writing the review! Do enjoy everyone!
After much deliberation, I decided to create a new Video Game Review Station to not only hold all of my video game review-related content but also to simplify the main/home page. Now, navigating the site should be easier than ever! And to top it off, my review of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is almost finished! Fans of the Zelda series and this game in particular will love this review...I just know it! Keep your eyes peeled...it should be posted today or tomorrow!
It has been a long time I know but you can blame Super Mario Galaxy, Dragon Quest VI, and the new Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for that! ;) Anyway, I am proud to give you two brand new video game reviews! I decided to go deep into the retro archives and discuss two extremely nostalgic games to this video game player: Rad Racer and the cleverly named sequel Rad Racer 2 as well! Do enjoy everyone!
Alright everyone! As promised, I now have revised reviews for two of the greatest video games ever made. Check out my Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3 reviews to re-live a slice of video game history! I now have updated reviews for all ten classic Mega Man games...how about that? :)
Hello once again! :) There's nothing major to report today but I did revise my classic reviews of Mega Man 4, Mega Man 5, and Mega Man 6 this afternoon! I even added a couple of screenshots to the MM4 review. I had been meaning to do that for quite some time and finally got around to it this afternoon. Enjoy everyone! And don't worry, I have plans to revise my Mega Man 2 & 3 reviews very soon! :)
Alright! For the first time in what seems like ages, The Tigmo Dimension is actually getting updated on a regular basis! How about that? :) My latest review is yet another tribute to the Blue Bomber. Check out my Mega Man 10 review and enjoy! A lot of work went into that review in particular...whew! And people say that writing reviews for video games is easy...HA!!
Well, it has been long overdue, but a new section now graces The Tigmo Dimension! It only contains one review so far, but I have high hopes for the new Wii Wonders page! Definitely check out the new Mega Man 9 review in any case. It is one amazing game! Reviews for Mega Man 10 along with the original Super Mario Bros. game are on the horizon as well! Do enjoy the current update everyone! :)
It is quite rare for me to do this but I just revised my Mega Man 8 review quite a bit! New info, new screenshots, and a new final rating await Blue Bomber fans! :)
Don't pass out or anything but how does two new reviews within a ten day period sound? ;) Continuing the Mega Man Madness that has recently ensnared myself along with my good friend Josh, I have posted a pretty lengthy review for Mega Man 7 for the Super Nintendo! I know that this is the first Super NES game I have reviewed in a long, long time so definitely check it out whether you are a Blue Bomber fan or not!
Hello everyone! Believe it or not, I just posted a brand new video game review! How about that, huh? ;) After another lengthy hiatus, I decided that it was about time for me to sit down and finally write a review for the original Mega Man game. Definitely check it out if you want to read about the origin of the Mega Man series. It's both entertaining...and educational! ;)
Wow...talk about a long hiatus! I am indeed still alive and kicking with a whole treasure trove of games for all systems that I would like to review. Time has been the issue to be honest but isn't that the case for all of us? :) In any case, this update is very small but I have added Nintendo Legend to my Links page. I recently met up with a nice gentleman who is attempting to review every single NES game in existence! As of this update, he has reviewed 74 games so far and shows no signs of slowing down! I would encourage everyone who loves the NES to check out his site! Enjoy and here's to hoping that The Tigmo Dimension can continue to grow as well! :)
Uhh...Happy Belated New Year Everyone!! Lol...it appears that Tigmo is up to his old tricks of not updating his site nearly enough! We'll have to see if we can change that. In any case, I've just made some cosmetic changes and have tried to eliminate any "orphan pages" by adding links back to my Home Page. Hopefully, you will all find it easier to navigate my site and will easily find your way back to my Home Page without clicking on the Back button on your browser. In other news, Mega Man 10 has an official release date of March 1st per Capcom and a new Blaster Master game made its presence felt earlier this week on Wiiware! Seriously!! A new Blaster Master game! And it rocks in a big way too. And, as you can probably imagine, I am just itching to get my hands on Mega Man 10! I do hope to add a Wii and possibly a DS section to my site in the coming weeks and months. And I still need to add a Mega Man 9 review! Ha, ha...too many games need a Tigmo review don't they? Hey, do have a great Friday everyone and happy gaming!
Well, after a short hiatus, I am pleased to report that my "Galactic Guestbook" is alive and kicking once again! Thanks to Yahoo! Web Hosting and their easy-to-use add-on services, I was able to create a new Guestbook within minutes! The main links to sign and/or view it are where they have always been on my main page. Sign away to your heart's content! Also, I decided to add a more snazzy-looking counter to my main page as well. Have a wonderful Friday everyone!
Happy Friday everyone! Nothing major to report this time but there are several new MP3s in my MP3 Masterpieces section with plenty more to come in the near future! Also, I currently have a whole slew of items up for auction on eBay and I hope to add a whole plethora of new items in the coming weeks. Pretty much everything I have listed is in incredible condition too! Have a great day everyone!
I have nothing new to report but just to let everyone know, I am aware that the Guestbook link is now broken due to Geocities shutting down (they were the ones sponsoring my Guestbook). In any case, I do hope to have a new Guestbook up and running very soon! And btw, I do have the old Guestbook saved on my home computer as a Word document. You didn't think that I would fail to save all of your fun and encouraging messages now did you? ;)
Happy Friday everybody! I just completed my long-awaited review of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for the NES so definitely check that out! And thank my old college buddy Tom Young because he requested it! ;) Also, I have cleaned up various pages, added a few pics to reviews, and updated my MP3 page for the first time in eons with lots of new music! Definitely check that one out!
Well, well, well...for the first time in what seems like eons, a new review has finally decided to show up at The Tigmo Dimension! How about that? ;) I thought about what I should do to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this site and I thought to myself, "What better way to show my appreciation than to actually write reviews of games that have been requested by you? My faithful fans?" So to kick things off, I just completed a review to one of Eric Bumpus' favorite NES games, R.C. Pro-Am! More reviews will be coming soon! Sign my guestbook with any requests that you might have! I'm keeping track! ;)
Two updates in two days?! What's going on here? I have just been cleaning up the site this morning and checking for broken links and whatnot. Speaking of links, the Links section is now completely updated! All of the broken links should be gone. I also updated the Credits section by adding a few new people that I felt should be mentioned. :) And lastly, I finally posted several pictures on my Personal page! Definitely check those out when you get the chance! Well, we should be good to go but please do let me know if any pictures/music files/links don't work. Thanks and enjoy!
Well, I'd like to give everyone a hearty welcome to the new home of The Tigmo Dimension! This isn't exactly the way that I was hoping to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the site (i.e. having to move it to a new location due to Geocities closing) but, perhaps this move will trigger some much-needed updates to the long stagnant site! Even though life has become much more busy since my glorious college years came to an end back in 2004, I still have the desire to work on this site and to make it better and better with each passing year! In any case, Happy 10th Anniversary Tigmo Dimension! :) I never could have dreamed of this site lasting for so long but it has truly been a joy creating this site and I certainly do hope that all of you have enjoyed viewing the site over the years as well. Enjoy and I seriously do intend to update it again on a much more constant basis in the future! Yes, Eric, I really do intend to update it...lol. :) Have a great day everyone!
Hello everyone! I know that it has been an awfully slow year in terms of "real" updates but there are still plenty of goodies to feast on at The Tigmo Dimension! Anyway, the reason for this update is that I just heard some of the best news that I have heard in a LONG time that should please retro gamers and Mega Man fans alike. I thought that it had to be fake at first but Capcom has truly announced the long, long, LONG awaited Mega Man 9!! No joke! Check out this link to get an in-depth preview of a game that old school gamers like myself are absolutely drooling over right now. Essentially, Mega Man 9 is going to be virtually identical to the NES games with plenty of tributes to the good old 80s generation who grew up with the original Mega Man series. Heck, even the artwork has a distinct 80s feel to it! In any case, I simply wanted to pass the word to any Mega Man fans out there who haven't heard the news yet. I literally stumbled upon this information earlier this morning at Gamefaqs and you could only imagine how pleasantly surprised I was. The old school fans who have been clamoring for a ninth Mega Man game in the original series are finally going to get their wish which is so awesome! It's been a long time since I've been this excited about a video game. At least for a brief moment, I'm feeling like I've just gone back in time. Nostalgia...how I love thee! :)
It's been a long, long time but I'm still alive and kickin'! :) Like I said in a previous update, don't expect two reviews in four days very often! One of these days, I'm sure that I'll get back into the groove and add some new reviews or something of that nature. I've actually toyed with the idea of adding various Top 10 lists to my site with fun categories like "Top Ten Video Game Soundtracks" or "Top Ten Video Games of All-Time." Hopefully, I'll get around to it one of these days. In any case, sorry that this isn't more of an update than this. You can blame it on Dragon Quest VIII (which I am playing for a second time) and Mario Kart for the Wii!! Speaking of which, I would recommend the Wii to any video game fan out there. The game controls are very intuitive and unlike anything you have ever used yet they are so easy and fun to learn. In my humble opinion, Nintendo has officially bounced the Playstation out of the top spot in the videogame universe. I don't know what the heck has happened but the Playstation 3 has been a complete disaster! (You know it isn't a good sign when the PS2 is still selling consoles at a faster rate than the PS3.) I love the PS2 but Sony has clearly seen their 11 year reign (which arguably began with the release of Final Fantasy VII for the PS1) come to an end. It will certainly be interesting to see how this 3-way battle between the Wii, XBox 360, and PS3 winds up though. In any case, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still here and that I certainly could never forget about The Tigmo Dimension. Take care and feel free to write me anytime if you feel like talking video game stuff or "The Question." ;)
First of all, Happy New Year to all of you! :) The fact that it is now 2008 is still trying to set in my mind. I simply can't believe that we're nearly twenty years removed from those good old 1980s. Gosh, I'm beginning to feel old! ;) In any case, I finally completed my review of Xenosaga: Episode Three - Also sprach Zarathustra for the PS2. I know that this review took longer than expected but better late than never right? Definitely check out this new review in addition to my other Xenosaga reviews. The final scores of these games might shock those of you who have never given this otherworldly series a shot. Enjoy!
How about this? After a "whopping" zero updates for nearly a year, I just posted my second new review in 4 days! Don't get too spoiled now. ;) As promised, I just completed my review of Xenosaga: Episode Two - Jenseits von Gut und Bose for the PS2. You'll probably be seeing an Episode Three review within the next few weeks (I'm still playing Episode Two right now.) For now, enjoy the Episode Two review!
It is official. After nearly a year-long hiatus, Tigmo is back and better than ever! ;) I know that it has been seemingly forever since the last true update but I am eager to get back into the swing of things and to really work on making The Tigmo Dimension a fun place to visit! I want to take the time to thank my good friend "Shy Ranger" from Gamefaqs.com as well. Thanks so much for your encouraging words and for really giving me that shot in the arm I needed to get back into this site. If you have any requests regarding video game reviews or anything else related to the site, I'm always listening man. ;) I figured that a good way to start would be to change the main background. Isn't that new background cool? I also decided to write a review for one of the games that has severely distracted me from working on the site for so long! I just posted my review for Xenosaga: Episode One - Der Wille zur Macht so definitely check it out! Once you read the review (and see the stunning rating I gave it), you'll see why I've been so preoccupied! Reviews to Episodes 2 and 3 of this earth-shattering series will be coming soon (I'm heavily into Episode 2 right now!)
Holy cow!! I can't believe that I haven't updated the site in so long! I knew that it had been a while but...over 2 months? Well, you can all blame it on the Xenosaga trilogy. ;) I've had a blast with Episode 1 and beat Episode 2 recently (currently working on the "Professor" quest). Anyhoo, I haven't forgotten about The Tigmo Dimension. Hopefully, I will be able to get back into the fever sometime soon. For now, just enjoy all of the great content already out there. ;) More will be coming soon...I promise! :)
Hello everyone! Sigh...I haven't forgotten about the site or anything. Just blame Kingdom Hearts II and Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for the PS2 for taking up so much of my time lately. Man, both of those games are just so fun and engrossing! I never thought that I would see another strategy game as fun as Final Fantasy Tactics but Disgaea truly proved me wrong! With any luck, I'll post another review soon. Until then, do take care!
After a long hiatus, I decided to finally add some really cool video game music (MIDI format) that I've been holding onto for quite some time. Visit my music section and check them out! I plan on adding some additional MP3 files in the near future as well!
I just posted yet another Dragon Warrior review! This time, I'm taking an in-depth look at the exceptional fourth game in the series. Check it out!
Nothing major to report but I have added a lot of video game logos to my reviews in an attempt to spice things up a bit! Just check out some reviews and see what you think!
Well, the long stretch without any new reviews in finally over! I just posted a review of a game that I have played to death and beyond these past months: Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King for the PS2! It is by far the longest review I have ever written and, amazingly, I didn't even get to touch on several aspects of the game. That's how large the game is! I also wrote up a review for another great game in the Dragon Quest series: Dragon Warrior III. How about that? Two new reviews!! Enjoy!!
The MP3s just keep on coming! I just added a few of my favorite tracks from Kingdom Hearts for the PS2. Also, I'd like to thank my cousin Randy Evans for signing my guestbook. Thanks man!! You're like the first person since the Stone Age to sign it...lol! Anyway, keep the suggestions and emails coming!!
As promised, I have added a whole slew of new MP3s to my MP3 Masterpieces section. Lots of music from Final Fantasy and Chrono fame along with a Castlevania: Symphony of the Night treat. More great music is on the way!
Man oh man!! I can't believe that I haven't updated the site in so long! I am doing very well and just got back from an exciting trip back to Ohio/Indiana a week ago. There's nothing quite like seeing old friends and family to get the blood flowing again. It's just been too dull out here in Arizona. Anyway, I just added a few new MP3s (yay!!) and will hopefully add some more before too long. As usual, I plan on adding a ton of reviews soon. Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy VIII and X-2, Xenogears, and Dragon Quest VIII are all on the "To Do" list. Anyway, feel free to offer any suggestions/requests regarding future reviews and whatnot and write to me sometime!! :) Talk to you later!
Turtles fever is officially alive and well! My younger brother Nathan and I have been plowing through TMNT 2, 3, and 4 these past couple weeks. All of these games are deliciously old-school and just loads of fun to play! My latest review is of the third Turtles classic.
Well, it's only taken me seven years but I've finally gotten around to posting a review for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game!! This review is for my college buddy Tom Young, who requested a Turtles review quite some time ago. See? I do listen to all of you! :)
I just posted my first new review in quite some time! It's fitting that I would write up a review of Snow Brothers in the middle of winter...don't you think? :)
I just added several new MP3s! If you consider yourself to be a Final Fantasy fan, these exceptional tracks are not to be missed! :)
I have added a few new MP3s for your enjoyment! Enjoy and please do not hesitate to write any requests! :) Also, I have updated my review of Super Mario Kart for the Super NES. My younger brother & sister and I have really got into this great game recently and, as a result, I felt like spicing up the review a bit. Long-time fans of my site might notice a slight change in the game's final rating as well! ;) Anyway, enjoy and keep those requests coming!
Hello and Happy New Year everyone! I hope that 2006 brings a whole lot of joy and happiness to all of you! :) Like usual, I have been meaning to update the site for a while but have really been going gung-ho selling items on eBay lately! I decided to list a whole slew of games on eBay and just wrapped up a long string of auctions this past week. I would definitely like to thank each and every one of my buyers for wonderful transactions across the board! Thank you all so much! Seriously, I can't recall my job as a seller ever being so easy. No late payments, no communication issues; just one great transaction after another! My feedback just topped 300 as well! Whoo-hoo!! :)
Anyway, like always, I plan on adding a whole slew of goodies to the site this upcoming year. For starters, I plan to add a lot of great music to my MP3 section! Yep, there's more on that page than that one Xenogears song now. ;) A whole lot of video game reviews can be expected as well. And for those of you who give a flying pickle (as my sister Cari says...lol!), I just might add some more stuff to my Personal Info section. We'll see. Anyway, more goodies should be available in the near future so keep your eyes peeled!
Hello everyone! It's so hard to believe that Christmas is once again just a few days away but I say let's party! :) Of course, since I just got my wisdom teeth removed this past Friday, I don't feel like going crazy just yet. Anyway, I just added a Ristar MIDI a minute ago and wanted to let all of you know that I have been listing stuff left and right on eBay these past few weeks so go check it out! Lots of rare goodies are up for grabs and they could be yours! (the link on my main page will get you there) Anyway, here's to a wonderful holiday season for all of you and a special time as we celebrate the birth of Jesus! :) God Bless and Merry Christmas to all!
Okay, don't blow a gasket or anything but I just posted a review for the first time since August! I just completed the incredibly long Dragon Warrior VII a few days ago and decided to write a review before I changed my mind...lol! After all, a Dragon Warrior review was long overdue as I have always had a special place in my heart for this legendary series. All I can say is that I can't wait for my pre-ordered copy of Dragon Quest VIII to arrive in the mail! Enjoy the review!
WOW!! Well, even Tigmo needs a break once in a while! :) Like usual, I have been meaning to update the site for a while but have just been so preoccupied with other things. However, I am definitely getting into that website "groove" again so hopefully, you'll be seeing lots of new stuff here shortly! I did add several new MIDIS to the newly christened "MIDI Mania" section and I continue to thank the countless composers who have come up with such catchy music! Check this section out and if you really enjoy it, visit The Videogame Music Archive sometime!! It is incredible how much that site has grown over the years. Lastly, how about the NES celebrating its 20th anniversary this month! Is that cool or what? How time flies...
I just completed my review of a real sentimental favorite of mine, Darius Twin for the Super NES. I don't know; that game just came to mind for some reason. More reviews are coming soon!
Nothing major but I spruced up the Final Fantasy II and III reviews this morning. Also, I revised my Ratings page! I just wanted to clarify a few things regarding the Challenge and Funfactor sections. Hopefully, some new reviews will be coming soon! Man, there are so many games that I want to review! Suggestions are certainly welcome! There is also a secret project that I am considering...something that I think would be really fun! What is it you ask? You'll see! :)
I just added several new MIDIS! Mainly Mario, Mega Man, and Sonic stuff.
Greetings! Final Fantasy fans, you're in for a very special treat as I have just completed my longest video game review ever! I just recently beat Final Fantasy X for the Playstation 2 and, let me tell you, it was one of the best games that I have ever played! Click on the link for a very in-depth review with lots of screenshots! It was a lot of work but that great game certainly deserves the royal treatment...lol. I might tackle Final Fantasy VIII next; we'll see. Until next time!
Happy belated fourth everyone! It truly is a blessing to live in a country where freedom and independence are valued so highly. Continue to pray for the swift return of our troops in the Middle East. On a much, much lesser note, I just posted a review for Mega Man 6 for the NES. Enjoy and God Bless!
I just added a whole host of MIDIS to my music section! There are lots of goodies to be had if you're a video game fan. And to make things easier in the future, I am now adding a "New" notation next to all of the new files. That way, you'll know what's new and what's not!
Hello all! :) I just posted my reviews of the rare and obscure Bonk's Adventure game pak along with the underrated Kabuki: Quantum Fighter platform adventure. More reviews are forthcoming including one for Final Fantasy X for the PS2. This game is one of the reasons why I haven't updated the site in four weeks. Of course, being insanely busy at work and selling a multitude of items on eBay (which went super...thanks to all of my wonderful buyers out there if you're viewing this!) doesn't help either. Anyhow, more updates to the site can be expected soon!
Well, since I posted a review for the original Ducktales, I figured that I might as well write one for the sequel as well. Oh!! And check out my list of items for sale on eBay (there's a link on the main page). I have listed a lot of my rare stuff like Adventures of Lolo 3 and Space Megaforce. Lots of goodies are there for the taking!
I just posted my review of the NES classic: Ducktales. If you're feeling ducky, check it out! ;)
I've just added a lot of new screenshots to several of my Mega Man reviews (MM5, 8, X4, and X5 among others). New reviews are coming soon!
I've finally got a real update for you! There's been a real case of Mega Man fever here lately and as a result, I've posted reviews for three Playstation 2 Mega Man games! Mega Man X7, Mega Man X8, and the underrated RPG Mega Man X: Command Mission are all here with loads of great screenshots! Check out the Playstation Power section and enjoy!
I have added a ton of new screenshots to spice up several of my video game reviews! While the main focus was on improving my NES reviews (e.g. Life Force, Tecmo Super Bowl, and Little Nemo), I also added some new pics to my Secret of Mana review. More will be coming soon!
At last! Man, I have been wanting to work on the site for a while but something called work keeps getting in the way. ;) Anyway, I have added a lot to my Blaster Master review as well as a few new screenshots. I've also added a lot of new music to my music section! Lotsa good stuff! Also, you may have noticed that the order of links on the main page has changed! Don't worry; my Personal Info section is still there! :) I just figured that everyone would prefer checking out all my video game stuff before learning about Tigmo himself. ;) I also changed the font of the headings throughout the site to Comic Sans MS (it's the font on the main screen) since it doesn't seem to like Cezanne anymore. Wow...that's real exciting isn't it? Anyway, I do hope to write up a ton of reviews very soon. I did add a Playstation 2 section in the Playstation Power area so everything is set up! I am hoping to write reviews for Mega Man X8, Mega Man X Command Mission, and Sonic Mega Collection Plus among other things. Until then, continue to enjoy the site and please let everyone you know about this place! I want all video game fans to enjoy this! :)
Nothing major. I did add a few new screenshots to the 10-Yard Fight and Super Mario Bros. 2 reviews. Checked my newest reviews for errors (we've got to be grammatically correct now don't we?) Perhaps I'll write some TMNT reviews next!
Can you believe it? How about 3 updates in 4 days? :) I've added a lot of new music to my MIDI sections so check 'em out when you get the chance! Chrono Cross, Sonic, and the surprisingly great Ristar are all new additions.
Since I wrote a review for Super Mario Bros. 2, I felt obligated to write one for possibly the greatest Mario game ever, Super Mario Bros. 3. Man, all these Mario reviews are making me feel so nostalgic!
An actual update! I was feeling a bit nostalgic tonight so I finally got around to writing up a review for one of my classic favs: Super Mario Bros. 2. It's about time I wrote a review for one of the classic Super Mario Bros. games!
Sorry but this isn't a huge, colossal update with ten new video game reviews and tons of new songs in the MIDI section. That'd be nice wouldn't it? I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still alive and that I will hopefully get around to adding to the site sometime soon. I've been jamming to Sega Mega Collection Plus for the PS2 along with Final Fantasy VIII for the PSOne so there should be a host of new reviews coming soon. I am actually considering adding a Sega Genesis section what with the Sonic games and all. Regarding the Playstation, I'll probably just separate that section into two. Just for laughs, I did add a review for the NES "classic" 10-Yard Fight just now. Enjoy and I hope to add some real goodies soon!
Nothing major but I've added new screenshots to the Monster Party (NES) and Gradius Gaiden (PSone) reviews. More screenshots are coming soon!
Happy New Year!! It's so hard to believe that 2005 is already here. Whatever happened to the 90s??? I have nothing major to report except for minor revisions here and there. I did revise Tigmo's Jukebox and the Credits section. I also added some new music to Tigmo's Jukebox (Battletoads, Mega Man 2, Secret of Mana...) Hopefully, 2005 will be a breakthrough year for the site!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! The revamp continues at The Tigmo Dimension as I have been working long and hard to make this site better than ever! With the holidays approaching and a ten day break from work (Whoo-Hoo!!), I should be able to get a lot done! You might have already noticed but the main focus of these past few weeks has been to totally revamp/revise The Question. It seems to flow much better and just has a neat spirit about it; if you want to learn more about myself and what exactly "The Question" is, do check it out! The background is pretty cool too! Hopefully, I will find better backgrounds for other sections of the site; I want The Tigmo Dimension to be awesome! Talk to you again soon!
Finally!! After looking exactly the same for nearly five years, The Tigmo Dimension is at last beginning to resemble the website that I visualized back in 1999. Although it was something that I have been wanting to do for quite some time, my good pal Richard (see the Guestbook) finally got me to do a little fall cleanin'. :) I really like the new background; it just seems a lot cleaner than the old rainbow image. Notice the nifty scrolling effects too...I can just hear all of those ooh's and aah's! Anyway, I still have a lot of work to do but the overhaul is definitely underway! Thanks again to Richard and all of you who have been encouraging me to make some changes. Your requests have not gone unnoticed. I realize that I still have a lot of review requests to honor but don't worry! In due time, you'll be seeing some TMNT, Battletoads, and Clash at Demonhead reviews posted on the new and improved Tigmo Dimension site!
I know it's been a while but I finally got in the mood to do some writing and posted a review for Illusion of Gaia! If you've been searching for a great old school epic adventure to play, look no further!
Hey everyone! All I can say is "How about those Atlanta Falcons?" I can't believe that they are 4-1! Whoo-hoo! Anyway, I am doing very well with work and all but, as you have seen, I haven't had much time to work on the ole' Tigmo Dimension lately. Hopefully, that will change soon. There are a whole slew of reviews that I'd like to write up sometime in the near future. Xenogears, The Legend of Dragoon (not bad!), and your requests like Clash at Demonhead and TMNT are the top priorities. For the time being, enjoy some of the new MIDIS (Mega Man, Zelda, Legend of the Mystical Ninja) that I just posted. Have a great weekend everyone!
Hello friends! Man, these past three weeks have flown by! I have been wanting to update the site and work on some of those reviews suggested by Tom and Ryan (thanks for signing my Guestbook guys!) but I have been super busy with work lately. However, I do plan on adding some new goodies to the site soon so keep checking every once in a while! I did add a few new MIDIS tonight. Mega Man X3, Zelda; that type of thing.
My younger sister Cari turned 13 today! A teenage sister...now how scary is that? :) Anyway, I finally added an extremely overdue review for Final Fantasy IX. Since it's my sister's birthday and she loves that game so much, I thought that it would be fitting to add it on her B-day. Seriously, this game rocks big time! And if you ask me, the final rating was certainly fitting.
After receiving countless requests for one, I finally caved in and decided to create a way overdue guestbook for the site! Now all of you can write down your comments and suggestions whenever you want! Everything is very user-friendly so you shouldn't have any problems. If anyone does have a problem, please let me know right away! Enjoy and feel free to post often; I always enjoy hearing from all of you!
I've added a slew of new MIDIS and finally decided to split the MIDIS up into two sections. Everything was getting way too cumbersome!
I just posted my Life Force review! I figured that since I've talked about the game so much in my other reviews, it was about time for its own review.
Hello again! For some reason, I got in the mood to go through a whole slew of old MIDIS that I saved from years ago. Anyway, I ran across some real gems and just had to post them in my MIDI section! I added music for hits like Dragon Saber, Dragon Warrior, and Raiden. Check it out sometime!
Boy, have I been into old school NES games lately or what? I just posted a review of Stinger, the game that time forgot. This timeless classic is so much fun!
I have had a ball writing reviews for three, count 'em, three NES games! Gyruss, Marble Madness, and Sqoon each have their place in the NES Nostalgia section. If you're thirsting for the 80s, check out these new reviews!
For fans of really old school NES games, check out my review of Double Dribble. I had a blast writing this review; you've got to love the classics.
I just added a new review for one of the most popular RPGs out there: Final Fantasy VII. This game is truly one of a kind and is the main reason why my last update was...um...June 15th. ;)
I've added several new MIDIS! Mega Man and Sonic fans might want to check it out!
I finally completed my Monster Party review today! I had actually started it last year but didn't get around to finishing it until now! Oh well...better late than never. This game has to be one of the wackiest games in video game history. It's a great game though!
There are a few new tunes in the MIDI section so check them out! My "Top 10" tunes have changed over the past few weeks as well. Also, I have a new Super NES review for all of you Zelda fans out there! A legendary game that is...
Three updates in a week! Will miracles never cease? I just added not one but two new video game reviews! The first one is enough to make you go looney while the second one is simply long overdue. I remembered several requests for a Mega Man 4 review a while back so I finally decided to post one! As I have said before, I do take requests. Write to me!
Wow!! Two updates in three days! What's going on?! ;) I had no intention of working on the site today but I found some great music at the Videogame Music Archive and couldn't resist uploading some new files to the site. I added a lot of Sonic music along with additional Mega Man tunes. Some of the Sonic music is so good that my "Top 10" has been shaken up! In addition to simply adding new files, I just cleaned up the music section in general and revised a few things. It's looking pretty snazzy!
The Tigmo Dimension lives! After the longest hiatus yet, I have caught the web bug and have been very busy on the site this past week. The past nine months have been simply breathtaking. My Senior year at Indiana Wesleyan University was like a dream and ended all too soon. I graduated this past April 24th with a double major in accounting and finance and received Summa Cum Laude honors! I ended up with a 3.981 GPA which is more than I could have ever hoped for. I give Jesus all the glory because I know that I couldn't have done it without Him. I just hope that I can harass this potential and use it in a positive way down the road.
Regarding the site itself, I have changed a lot of things in an attempt to spice things up a bit. I totally revised the main page and have changed some of the color schemes as well. I also added a trifecta of new reviews in the Playstation Power section! If you're a fan of the Mega Man X series, you won't want to pass up these reviews! I have also been fiddling around with the main headings at the top of each video game review. I added "Number of Players" and "Save Feature?" to provide additional information as well as to fill in some extra space. You might note that the arrows that directed you back to the main page are now gone. They just seemed to create clutter and frankly, I feel that most people have the know-how to use the back arrows on their browser. However, I kept some of the arrows just to be safe.
Today is my dad's 50th birthday! It has been a great day for him; we got chinese food for lunch and he opened up a DVD and a new CD player afterwards. I just happened to get on the internet for a short while. Although I didn't plan on working on the site today, I went ahead and added some new screenshots to several of my NES reviews! I felt that more graphics would spice up my reviews a little bit. Anyway, have a great day everyone!
I just completed a new Super NES review! I have had a great time delving into Breath of Fire 2 for my Super NES. Such a great time, in fact, that I decided to write a review of it! I have also changed a few things in my Ratings section and have also revised the ratings for several of my reviews. I felt that there were a few discrepancies. Giving FF2 a "4.5" for graphics? C'mon! :) I have cleaned up some of my reviews as well.
Believe it or not, I am still alive. :) I just haven't got around to working on the site much lately. However, I did finish my Final Fantasy Tactics review today! It really is one of the best games out there. If you enjoy strategy and games that really make you think, you might want to take a look!
Hello everyone! I have really worked on my Personal Information section today! I have cleaned up that area of my site and have added a lot of information to the "Glory Years" section. The other two sections have been revised as well. Check it out if you have time to do a lot of reading. :)
I have added several new MIDIS to my favorite music section! I have also cleaned up that section quite a bit. Some of the new music is very nice! There are some new additions to my "Top Ten" as well.
I really cleaned up the Links section this afternoon and even added some new links! I removed several broken links...it's too bad that some of them don't exist anymore. Btw, if you want to know who my favorite sports teams are, check out the Links section! ;) Also, feel free to email me if you stumble onto a great Christian/video game website out there. If it is good enough, I will add it to my Links section!
Happy summer vacation to me! :) The summer break is here and so is my first update in a long time! I am doing just fine out here in Arizona...enjoying the nice weather, my family (I think...lol.), and the NHL playoffs! How about those Anaheim Mighty Ducks? They finished off the Dallas Stars in an exciting 4-3 game last night (won the series 4 games to 2). Simply amazing...especially from a #7 seed. It will be fun to see how far they go. Heck, if they can sweep Detroit (I predicted them to go all the way btw.) and defeat a gutsy Dallas team, who knows? Anyway, I have just posted two, count 'em two new reviews in my Playstation Power section. If you enjoy racing games and shoot 'em ups, you might want to take a look!
Hello loyal fans! :) I am currently on my spring break and have finally found the time to do a little work on my site. I have added some new music to my MPEGS section that is very nice! I have also made some minor changes to my Chrono Cross review; merely cosmetic stuff. I also added a new link (Chameleon's Den) to my Links section that is a great find for anyone searching for rare old school games.
I have posted two new reviews in the Playstation Power section of my site! The reviews include a candidate for the greatest game ever, Chrono Cross, and the super-addictive puzzler Bust-a-Move 2. Both games belong in every video game collection!
Yeah, yeah...I know. I continue to promise "big things" for this site then...BOOM!! You don't hear from me for months on end. Anyway, I am still alive and I wish that I had time to really work on this site. However, I just can't find the time with college to work on my site. However, that should change soon because Thanksgiving and Christmas are on the way! Once I get those breaks, I'll be back doing what I really enjoy. Reviews of Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy IX are top-priority...hopefully they will be up around then. Regarding the site as of right now, I added a new MPEG file so check it out when you get the chance! Until next time...
Wowzer! It's been a long time since my last update...sorry about that! :) I've been extremely busy lately...playing Chrono Cross!! That game is among the best ever IMO; it's simply a masterpiece! I'll try to write a review for CC before school starts (which is in a few days). Anyway, it may not look like it, but today was a big day for this site! I just signed up with Geocities Plus which means a few things. First of all, there are NO more ads! We're free at last! :) Also, I now have 25 megabytes to work with; I'll be able to feature more music at my MPEG section; there should be some Chrono Cross goodies coming soon. The data transfer allocation has increased big time too; you shouldn't have trouble accessing the site. All in all, I think that it's worth the $4.95 a month charge. Hopefully, you'll find this site to be more enjoyable than ever! I'm just thrilled that the ads are gone! Anyway, thanks for visiting this site; enjoy!
The long-promised Mega Man 3 review is finally complete! It's golden but was it good enough to surpass Blaster Master for the NES Crown Jewel? Check it out to see! Also, I have completely revamped my Personal Information section!! There are now three areas to go and two of them are very long! I did a lot of writing too; if you're curious about my personal life, then check out that section! I think that you'll really like it! :)
I just posted my first Playstation review! It's for a dandy of a game too. If you want to see what I think about Mega Man 8 then check out the review! :) My F-Zero, The Lone Ranger, and Dusty Diamond reviews all have new/added screenshots as well. You know me; always trying to improve this site...lol. Enjoy!
The Monopoly review has been posted! This NES gem is a terrific party game and is very faithful to the board game. Get this game if you can!
I added a track from Chrono Cross to my MPEG section. It's a real beauty too so check it out! I also revised my Mega Man 2 review...I think that it reads a lot more smoothly now. Enjoy!
This has been a big day for The Tigmo Dimension! The Playstation Power section is up and is ready to rumble! Reviews should be coming very shortly for this remarkable system. I have worked on my video game sections for the longest time trying to get them just right. I cleaned things up to where it's easier than ever to navigate those areas. I revised my Ratings System as well. I really like the system now; some of the names that I came up with are really cool (I think they are anyway.) As a result, several games now have a different "title." Check it out! The video game areas have a new look too; I figured that it was about time. Earlier today, I posted the Mega Man 5 review that I promised yesterday. It's been a very enjoyable day for me; I even changed the background color on this page! Everything should be easier to read with the aqua background. More reviews will be coming very soon!
Another review has been completed. I can't believe it; two reviews in less than a month! :) I've always enjoyed Bust-a-Move so I went ahead and wrote a review for it. It's definitely a diamond in the rough.
I told you that I was back! I managed to write my first review in quite some time. If you like Super Mario Kart, check it out! Also, I've been working on the MIDI section a lot today! I added a lot of great video game music so check that section out as well!
FINALLY!! I am alive and well (somehow) after completing my first year at Indiana Wesleyan University. With Finals week out of the way, I finally have time to work on The Tigmo Dimension! :) All updates will be posted right here so check this site often! Today, I updated the MPEG section big time with four new songs! For you movie fans out there, check the Gettysburg theme! It's a beauty! That's all for now...I'm back!
I completed my review to one of the best games ever, Contra! I've also updated my main review pages. You can really see what I look for when I review a game; what I look for regarding graphics, music, etc...hopefully it's a lot more informative than before.
I've added reviews to Final Fantasy 2 and Dusty Diamond's All-Star Softball. Both games are a lot of fun!
Happy 4th everyone! I hope that everyone enjoyed celebrating America's 225th anniversary! I completed my Secret of Mana review today so check it out!
I have finally completed reviews of two "Golden Classics": Final Fantasy 3 and Mega Man 2. Both games are simply amazing! I also cleaned up the Links section so all of the links should work. Once you decide to leave The Tigmo Dimension for a while, check out my links section. You can link to some really impressive sites! On a smaller note, I've made some minor cosmetic changes to the site. I actually found a typo in the intro! I'll probably write a Mega Man 3 review and add some more MPEGS in the near future so keep checking the site!!
I added several new MIDIS today! I also added a little "system" to my MIDIS section. My ten favorite songs are now bold; now you can see what my very favorite songs are. These songs come highly recommended from me; they are the best of the best.
I cleaned up the MIDIS section today (i.e. replaced some MIDIS and got rid of others). I added some music to Chrono Cross so I encourage you to check it out! :) Btw, I encourage all of you to tell everyone you know about the Tigmo Dimension. If you know of anyone who is into video games or quality music, just jot down the URL for them. Thankfully, the address to this site is pretty easy to remember. Also, I encourage all of you to give me feedback. What do you think about this site? Does it look professional? Is it entertaining? Do you enjoy visiting? Let me know what you think. My email address is: tigmo55@yahoo.com. More updates are coming!
I added my Chrono Trigger review! I really enjoyed writing about this great game. It is definitely a "Golden Classic!" I also cleaned up various areas of the site. The video game reviews should look cleaner now. Also, I made a major update and made the text to the main page bold! You can actually read the text now...lol! :) I'll be concentrating on the music section next. It should be up very soon.
After nearly three years, The Tigmo Dimension is finally ready to roll! I still have a few areas of the site to fix but most of the links should work. Enjoy! :)
